Comments:- Recording of a performance at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. The CDRs issued by House of Opera are included in the list of new releases added to their website in December 2003 «03/12/22». Here the date of the performance recorded is given as 16 June 1971, but according to the «Opera Calender Abroad» in OPERA June 1971 p.524 a performance of Manon Lescaut was not programmed for that day. However, there was to have been a performance on 26 June 1971. The performance on 25 February 1971 is reviewed in OPERA May 1971 p.401 and the cast listed above is taken from here. Therefore it may be incorrect.
