Comments:- Recording of a performance in the Théâtre Ephémère, Saint Etienne. The date given by House of Opera in their online catalogue is (was?) 3 December 1999, but according to the schedule given in OPÉRA INTERNATIONAL novenbre 1999 p.86 there were to be only three performances on 9, 11, 12 November 1999. The performances on 11 and 12 November are reviewed in OPÉRA INTERNATIONAL No.242 janvier 2000 pp.42-43 and the cast listed above is that given for 11 November which corresponds closely to that given by HOO except that HOO lists an additional singer «Bernardini».
